A couple of short films strung together. These were transferred from a VHS cassette, so the picture quality isn't up to modern standards. Despite this, the subject matter is fascinating. Nick Burge created a wide range of model submarines throughout the 1990's. He disliked building hulls and the vast majority of his boats were unique creations often built around clear acrylic cylinders. He also ventured into building underwater creatures like an RC Shark and a Dolphin, both can be seen on this video.
All the footage was filmed in Nick's purpose built pond which he built in his back garden in Sidcup, Kent.
The Surcouf and HMS Stoic belonged to Bernie Woods, and the depth charging and exploding torpedoes towards the end were the work of Paul Thompson.
