Northwestern's Dance Marathon raised more than $1 million for the first time in the event's history.
The grand total was $1,019,130, including cash and in-kind donations. This year's primary beneficiary, the Children’s Heart Foundation, received $632,689.20. The Evanston Community Foundation also received a check for $70,298. More than 900 students--another DM record--danced in the 30-hour event.
