Sony VX2100 and TRV730 and Canon L-1 camcorders. This is a collection of birds I caught on tape, with a few flowers, mountains, rivers and other outdoor scenes from in and around Eugene. Some of the more noteworthy birds are: Falcated Duck, Eurasian Wigeon, Tule subspecies of Greater White-fronted Goose, Dusky, Vancouver, Western and Lesser Canada Geese, Egyptian Goose, Cackling Goose (minima and tavernii subspecies), Great-tailed and Common Grackles, Yellow-headed Blackbird, Black Tern, Black-necked Stilt, White-tailed Kite, Golden and Bald Eagles, Northern Harrier, Eurasian/Green-winged Teal hybrid, Hooded Merganser and dozens of other species. The birds swirling down into a chimney are Vaux's Swifts. If you look closely, you can see a Sharp-shinned Hawk stick out a foot and snag one of them. One scene shows spawning Carp, writhing around in shallow water. Another features a Pacific Gartersnake, catching a fish.
It is 1 hour and 1 minute long and it becomes better as it gets closer to the end.
