"Daniel Hit By A Train"
Inspired by a Victorian collection of 53 true stories about people losing their
lives trying to save the life of another, Daniel Hit By A Train, between
vaudeville, pantomime, farce and melodrama, tells a string of tragedies
through a narrative that reveals the comic side of these heart-wrenching
events. Compassion and respect for the fragility of the human condition
merge here with the awareness that the most telling forms of condolence
are often irreverent. A performance composed of storytelling gems which
stand as testimony to the greatness of the human spirit and of man’s
abiding need to help one another. Lone Twin Theatre is one of the most
original and remarkable companies of the international scene.
