Can you spare a minute?

brief description:

Opened it up...charged it up...and started shooting. My 2 sons where more excited than I was. I am a total newb at this, so please be kind to me in the comments!

I wasn't too sure how to upload this, so this might be of lesser quality than recorded

24F Cannon default presets. I had it set on Manual when I knew I should have had it on AUTO. Edited in Sony Vegas Pro Trail.(Haven't made up my mind on what software get. Leaning towards Sony because it works better than Adobe Premiere Trial on my computer.

I'm not a film maker whatsoever, just a hobbyist with MUCH MORE to learn! All suggestions with be taken into extreme consideration.
