(Interactive Media : 1.28 mins)

This is an extract of an Interactive Multimedia Installation, that was designed around the subject of seeking asylum to stay in this country. The piece was originally designed to simulate a waiting room, so that the audience would come into the gallery space and take a chair, much like an asylum office, at which point
pieces of illuminated video would play, telling the real life stories of refugees waiting to hear the outcome of their application for asylum.

The director, Bergit Muller, went on to do the MA in Interactive Media at UWE, and is now a lecturer at the City of Bath college.
