A video demonstration of the technique where I use a simple piece of black foam to flag the light from my on-camera flash, to get studio quality light.

Neil. I am getting into still photography now. I like the black foamy thing. What a great improvement and without having to purchase the light kit.

I want to shoot head shots for my barber. He is creating a sort of catalog of his cutting styles. Any suggestions?

It's all there in the linked article, and further linked articles.

Neil, my typical photo event is usually located in a large dark room with a high ceiling, no walls or dark colored walls. How can I use the back foamie device in this situation where every shot is different.
    Thanks
    Bob

If there is nothing to bounce your flash off, then you have to adapt.
