i bought 1.0 from the app store the other day and i really really like it!

i am wondering when 2.0 is coming?

i can't wait for the orbiting.

hopefully very soon. I've got it pretty much all done, just squashing bugs now.

thanks for buying the app! i'm glad you're enjoying it

    orbiting!
will 2.0 have a volume control?
    thanks for the amazing work!

2.0 has a ton of new features beyond orbiting (check out the new video!) sadly, it doesn't have volume control yet.

I've noticed people asking for this, so i investigated it, but unfortunately apple is a real big pain in the neck about changing the system volume, and they require you to put on a slider from their UI kit to do it.... which would look awful with the UI i've made for synthpond..... so it's not there yet. If this is a really needed feature I make look into including a preferences option for iPod touch 1.0 users to enable to be able to have a volume slider without it ruining the visuals of the app for other people..
I don't have an iPod Touch. is there a reasonable way to set volume from outside of the application?

I just discovered that, on an ipod touch, double tapping the home button brings up a global volume slider, so no dedicated volume control necessary!
the new 2.0 features are dope.
now, how do you attach orbiting nodes to other orbiting nodes (that unsupported feature)?
  • zach gage plus 1 year ago
oh awesome. wow that takes a big weight off of my development shoulders haha.

you do it in the same way you attach any orbiting node to any other orbiting node. it just works.
