Dr. Yarmulowicz and his team of clinicians at the Royal Free Hospital work on preparing data that will often lead to making life saving decisions on a daily basis. Using dictated notes that were later typed up lead to delays in treatment that were unacceptable. The answer could lay in a speech dictation system.
Created on PAL BETA analogue. If you can make it through the clunky graphics and the over bold fonts, this piece of software, which is now quite old, may surprise you. Our goal was to show the results working in real time so that there was no way the speech could have been typed onto the screen in a later take. The solution was simple and worked well.
