Funded by the former Scottish Arts Council’s Public Art Fund (now Creative Scotland), and inspired by Glasgow Women’s Library’s (GWL) move to the Mitchell Library, the Making space team - artists, Nicky Bird and Shauna McMullan and project adviser Fiona Dean, worked with GWL staff, volunteers, Library users and learners to research the possibilities of a new public artwork for Glasgow Women’s Library.
