This is an entry that my partner Craig Hinrich and I produced for a short film competition about the skyway system in Minnesota. The intention of the competition is to feature produce a visual conversation about Skyways and their impact on the urban environment.

This is my first film produced with the D7000 and I was impressed solidly throughout the whole footage and how well it did in a variety of lighting conditions.

We had three different cameras in operation. I used the D7k for most shots, my partner Craig used a Sony HDR-HC1 camcorder. HDV, and we traded off some shots with the iPhone 4 for quick on location shots.

The biggest challenge in post was to marry all the types of footage together to feel as though they were all filmed on the same camera. I think considering the diversity of locations and lighting conditions, we succeeded pretty well.
