whats the material? Have you seen softpots? they sell them at sparkfun and they arent too expensive, and are very high resolution.
  • Josef Průša 10 months ago
Material is simple DIY PCB. Big fat lines, with black finish on it. Much cheaper then softpots, and if I want I can programm it as multitouch :-)

the advantage of softpots is you dont have to spend all that time making them, and they give you smooth high resolution data, they both have advantages. what do you mean by multitouch? and how high is the resolution on this? looks like maybe 20 different on off points am I right?

Of course you are right. Softpots have better resolution and its much easier to handle it :-)
This is only simple arduino exercise. Resolution is 16. By multitouch I mean it can sense more points.
