Video Goal-Capture the intensity of pre-Show nerves! And create a build feel.

I used slow motion, Steadicam Merlin and some audiodubbing.

Thanks for the feedback and for watching.
A few things-I dont know why I have a white line on the bottom of the window during playback in full screen. It happens when I resize the video during exporting. Any thoughts?

Also-still not happy with the Steadicam progress. But I am very happy with the overall feel that this video creates.

Only after vimeo. And, if it helps, I use Final Cut Express-I think it has something to do with FCE-it happens only when customize the size.

Nice work Hoop! How do you like the Merlin?

    Hello, Alfio-
Thanks. Ummm, I like it-but I find it is really, really hard to master (but my SteadiCam is getting a little better). I used it exclusively in two shots in this video and they are both rolleee polleee...so-I still have some improvement to do.

And it truly does draw a lot of attention and conversation.

    Just love it Mate :))))
Can I ask if you took the photos with the HV or with a still camera??
your steadicam skills look good to me ;)

Great question, the photos were taken on a nice DSLR (not by me). They are excellent quality and add a lot to this project.

Nicely done, Hoop! Love the wide screen look and the choice of music you use. Your video gives me the feeling of a professional movie in the theaters! Fun to watch!

I really appreciate this Linda, b/c I feel it is one of my better constructed videos, myself. My videos are mostly, real time events, in other words, events that don't stop for me so that I can get the shot. I make a video out of footage I was able to catch.
With that being said, I liked the look and feel of this one, too.
I think my favorite scene is the up/down scan of the arena, with the title, with the audio track layover of the announcer...you really get a 'build' feel.
Okay, I'm rambling. Thanks again, Linda!
