Oktoberfest is a great time in our community for people to get together for some fun.
This year the Rotary Club hosted a duck race to raise money. Kids from the local consolidated school were on hand selling seafood, hotdogs, and numerous tasty treats. Cyclists gathered after completeing a long ride on the Canada Trail. Soap box racers competed nearby to see who was the most fearless racer. Amusement rides were also avalable for young and old alike.
