ALL kids are born with superhero powers: creativity, inventiveness, openness. When growing up, going to school and to work, they unlearn these skills as they get boxed in in structures, hierarchies and other inertia swamps. Managers in left brain mode struggle through expensive creative processes in order to find innovative solutions to business challenges. Kids struggle in a 'classical' classroom setting while longing for more playful education forms (p2p, drawing, experimenting, bricolage...)
CIDTS stands for "Creativity and Inventiveness Developed as Timeless Skills" and creates a win-win by letting managers and kids help each other out:
1) Managers bring their problem out of their structure and hierarchy to reactivate unlearned creative skills coached by children in a safe playground, supported by tools from their youth, like drawing, playing etc.
2) Kids can share their dream school wishes with managers. Managers can introduce solutions existing inside their companies to help a part of the dream school come through (e.g. smartboards, outdoor classes, manager-teachers...). Let's call these services "dream assets". Companies can also pay CIDTS a fee (one part of it pays for our expenses, another part goes info a dream school fund).
The creative experiences between kids and managers are logged in movies, scripts and other tools inside our knowlegde database. This knowledge enables us to learn and stay ahead or... like our kids: keep our creative skills alive.
