City Hoop

"City Hoop" is a collaborative multidisciplinary presentation between filmmaker Erik Bosse and dancer / performance artist ST Shimi. This short film shot and edited by Bosse features Shimi hoop-dancing in nighttime urban settings around downtown San Antonio. "City Hoop" was created expressly for the 2011 Luminaria Arts Night in San Antonio. This posted piece isn't "City Hoop" "City Hoop" only properly exists with the live dance component by Shimi. But both Bosse and Shimi would like people to see "City Hoop," the video-only portion, if they can't make it to a live performance.
