Currently, Joe Charter's primary areas of law practice include foreclosure defense and bankruptcy, family law and elder law. Having a passion to help others, Joe continues to sharpen his knowledge of changes in the law in Oregon and other states to stay on the cutting edge of the foreclosure crisis.

Joe Charter has been actively involved in the community by serving on the Ashland Forest Lands Commission, Medford Planning Commission, and various non-profit boards, such as Mediation Works. He has been an amateur actor at Oregon Stage Works and Camelot Theater. Joe lives in the Railroad District, loves gardening and yoga, and enjoy plays, concerts, and movies.
