Number One Dad - A Short Film

This film, "Number One Dad", was shot with the Panasonic AJ-HDX900 onto DVCPro-HD tapes. It was shot on Zeiss super speed prime lenses.

The shoot lasted about one week. The final edit, with visual effects and music took about a year to complete.

The costume was specially made for this project, and was created by Mike Passaretti (mikesairbrushing.com). While this film is completely unrelated to Space Ghost, the the same voice artist that does the voice of Zorak, C. Martin Croker, was the voice of the mantis in this film.

The actress who played the mother character, Durango, is actually pregnant in this film, and actually has a South African accent.

Michael Q. Schmidt, of the Tim and Eric Awesome Show, is the creepy man in the restaurant.
