Measure half the phone's circumference. Work one ch-row that can be stretched to this size (with a light pull). This is the no of stitches needed for the bag.
ROW 1: Turn piece, ch 1, work 1 sc in each ch around the ch-row, work from both sides of the ch-row and now the no of sts has doubled.
Work in the round, 1 sc in each sc, until wanted height – finish with one sl st in first sc of last round.
