Public Interest Fellowships at OCU LAW
Public Interest Fellowships provide OCU LAW students a way to pursue summer opportunities with organizations and entities from the Office of the Attorney General of Texas to National Advocates for Pregnant Women in Washington, D.C. to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Western District of Oklahoma. These fellowships provide students with a financial stipend that allows them to take non-paying opportunities in the public sector and broaden their horizons as they plan for their lives and careers beyond law school. Every year OCU LAW's Public Interest Law Group hosts an auction to raise money for the Fellowships; in 2008 the group's inaugural auction raised over $12,000.
