December 12th 2008 : Edurelief update !

Thanks to all of you who watched and enjoyed Capucine's story, "Once upon a time" has made the rounds on Internet.

I wanted to put Capucine's popularity to a good use, and with the help of several awesome persons, we have set up a project in order to raise money for Edurelief, a development organization based in Mongolia, who helps providing school books to Mongolian kids.

Edurelief has a Vimeo account, where you can learn more about their work.

vimeo.com/user276165

Jonathan, Edurelief's founder, is willing to dedicate all the proceeds we make to a specific project called "Capucine's Library", which would benefit several hundreds kids in Mongolia. We will track progress and provide photos, films, and results of this project. If you want to support Capucine and her library, you can order from the T-shirts and magnets shops following links :

skreened.com/capucine
zazzle.com/capucha

or if you prefer, you can also make a dedicated donation on Edurelief's website, on the Capucine's fundraiser special page :

edurelief.org/involved/people-capucine

Every contribution, even the smallest one, will make a difference !

A huge thank you to those of you who have already supported us, and to those who will be willing to join us in this new adventure for Capucine :-)

A breathtaking story by Capucine. Starring baby monkeys lost in frightening trees, a witch, crocodiles, a tiger, a "popotamus" and a lion, and even a "tremendously very bad mammoth". There are also magic powers and an orange ring, but sometimes, "something goes amiss".
Bring your popcorn and enjoy the show.

you don't hear me crack up because i edited some parts :-D I was not sure that the line "they did not even take the train" would be funny for non french speakers, but i'm glad it does. and she's so serious when she says it hahaha. i don't know where she finds all of this :-D
  • Jenny Woo 1 year ago
haha yes i loved that line, "they did not even take the train", AND the way she said it. capucine should write stories for cartoons.

    show me the hd
  • Capucha plus 1 year ago
i will, as soon as i can afford a hd cam ;)
  • john randall 1 year ago
don't buy anything too cheap. check out the canon hv20, or even some of panasonic's stuff is down to $600US. don't go for the flip mino or any of the real cheap pocket hd cams. the footage is alright, but there's no image stabilization. thus, everything is shaky. you don't want that. it would be great to see miss capucine in hd. i wish that i could just loan you mine, but you are just too far away.
  • Capucha plus 1 year ago
thanks for the tips John !

She's an artist now. Capucine IS art, itself! The art of innately knowing how to enjoy Life. And I do mean "en" "joy" it, she infuses it with her spirit. Her response to Life only makes it even more vibrant, gain more creative energy.

It's awesome to watch all of this creation taking place before our eyes--Vimeo's awesome!

I think it was Buñuel who once said that we have to strengthen our "fantasy muscles" everyday... learned that in class, but you do the same questions as my teacher.
Le chemin pour être une grande maman!

merci Issis ! I hope she keeps this when she grows older, because I for myself have close to zero imagination :)

I'm trying to work out Capucine's bed-time reading list - it sounds as though CS Lewis and AA Milne are in there. Roald Dahl also ? If not yet I think she'd enjoy listening to his book "The Enormous Crocodile" ( amazon.co.uk/LEnorme-crocodile-Roald-Dahl/dp/2070548104 ) - my little son loved it :-)
  • Capucha plus 1 year ago
oh this is great !! thank you Amenon ! I just ordered it and will give you some feedback :)) PS : She doesn't know Lord of the Rings yet ;-)
  • Capucha plus 1 year ago
Amenon, The enormous crocodile arrived today. Capucine LOVED it. I wish you could have seen her reaction to it. Thanks again so much !
  • Amenon plus 1 year ago
So glad to hear she liked it :-))
  • Meesh 1 year ago
I thought CS Lewis as well :) Bravo, Capucine! I really enjoyed the bit about the train. Classic!
