On one particularly brisk, fine, and sunny Saturday in LA, Forest and I traveled downtown to the 30th floor of the AT&T Building. It was to be the first location for a "behind-the-scenes" video of Chile's first ever Grammy nominated artist, Ana Tijoux, documenting her 2011 pre-Grammy day.

Soon after we enjoyed the Flying Lotus set together, Ana took the stage by storm to the seated brunch crowd. Quickly, we realized how beautiful the locations were — and going to be — throughout the day. So we decided to start shooting like we would for a music video.

Next, we captured her pre-Grammy performance backed by The Roots at the Music Box in Hollywood. Then it was off to Ana's own show that evening at the Bootleg Theatre. It was a classic LA day (now click play.)

Ana recently was kind enough to release her new "Elefant Mixtape" for free on her site, so you have no excuse now but to download.
