Better Together volunteer John Walker and Rev. Paula Gile, Associate Pastor of the Congregational Church of Laconia, discussed a new summer lunch program in Laconia. A Better Together team of over 25 volunteers is busy coordinating the collection of monetary donations and distribution of healthy food items during the 11 week program. Schmitt Unsung Hero Award and how to nominate someone who works "behind the scenes" on behalf of children and families to receive this public recognition. In addition to receiving this community award, the recepient will designate a charity to receive a monetary award.
