It takes a confident man to wear pink -- but especially to dress up as a woman just for a laugh. Well, there were bellylaughs aplenty and barrels full of chuckles on the night of Saturday, March 12th, 2011 in Chester, CT. Contestants for “Miss Chest Hair 2011” included Paul Indorf (“Nancy-Boy Sinatra”), John Ivimey (“ManSarah Palin”), Andrew Landsman (“Julia Child”), Eric Lichter (“Chesty McNichol”), our First Selectman Tom Marsh (“Belle O’Dball”), Bob Babicz (“Patti Conk”), William Bernhart (“Lola Lolannadanna”), Joe Donnelly (“Little Orphan Fanny”), Leif Nilsson (“Claudet Leifacabybaby Nilsson”), Ron Rose (“Rosie the Riveter”), and John Williams (“Marilyn Manroe”). Proving perhaps that gentlemen – and ladies – prefer blondes, the three finalists sported platinum blond wigs. Three va’s and a voom (va va va voom!) later, Williams as Marilyn Manroe, a true glamour queen, won the crown (made by Katie Wright of The Hammered Edge) and the title of “Miss Chest Hair 2011.”
