"We didn't have a Christian" Seriously?? Why is it so difficult, after hearing someone like Rachel Esplin, to realize Mormons are Christians? I was impressed with these youth, however, the journalist/ interviewer is lacking.

That comment about lacking a Christian really surprised me as well. Talk about misperceptions and a lack of knowing about the LDS faith. Not addressing that idea was a large oversight, perhaps a chosen oversight.

I think Sally did a fair job in a lot of ways, I wish they'd had time to allow each individual to address the same questions: ie: everyone's concepts of 'heaven' and 'hell', etc.

I was wondering how they chose the students to participate. I appreciate Sally's efforts but it seems that in choosing someone to represent "Christianity" you would at least look for someone that was baptized into a Christian faith??

Being the majority, we Christians tend to be complacent in our expressions of faith. While believing in Jesus as a personal Lord and Savior is paramount, translating this belief into a way of life is a challenge. Perhaps this partly explains why panelists from other religions appear to speak with deeper conviction and understanding of their respective faiths.

I think Liz, although she tries her best, seriously misrepresents the Christian faith, although sadly, probably not the average "Christian". Not even being baptized but still considering yourself Christian, is horrifying. She isn't even sure how to develop a relationship with Jesus! I understand she is still trying to figure it out, but there might have been someone else that could better explain.

If there was a Catholic on the panel, they would be able to answer these questions much more solidly without sounding confused. I'm a bit disappointed that there isn't a Catholic. I mean, there are over a billion Catholics on the planet!

It also would have been nice to hear from a polytheist, just to get a wide range of views.

Every single one of the founding fathers was a Christian...I respect the freedom of religion & other religions, however, this is a Christian nation by the fact that it was it was founded under God, as in Heavenly Father.
Sad, that she would willingly take part in letting this nation fall into the hands of an athiest (while the President isn't all-powerful, the position does have clout).
