In the Spring of 2010 VIDANO Films travelled with ACSI (Association for Christian Schools International) and spent 2 weeks filming in S. Africa and Kenya.
One of the highlights of the trip was meeting up with pastor Julius Akenga and his wife Benjaline. Their church ministers to the poorest of the poor in the Kibera slums, in Nairobi. Kibera is one of the largest slums in Africa with over a million people living there. Julius and Benjaline's heart is to serve these people and see TRUE TRANSFORMATION in individual lives, in families and in the community.
Along with their school project in Kibera, Julius and Benjaline are ministering to prisoners, couples and families all over Nairobi.
