Incredible ! I have to search what is rotoscoping but it's really impressive ! (ok, now I know what it is)
  • Stéphane Jallet plus 2 years ago

I like the way you narrated your story both audio and visually. Somehow I can identify with it...we all draw when we were kids.

Technical tip: If you can find a way to deinterlace the video when exporting it from whatever program you used to edit it, it will look even better here.

this is so wonderfully tragic - it's like, "look at the drawings that make up my movie, that are like eye candy, but don't mean anything to me"

Amazing work, and the the subject matter was really profound. I used to be the same, I used to draw and draw just because I could and it was fun but now everything has to have a purpose.

I'm fairly new to vimeo and this was one of the first videos I watched. I was excited to think that this would be a sample of the creativity and quality of the vimeo community. I haven't been disappointed either. The vimeo crowd is the bee's knees, so thanks for a great first impression. Awesome job.

This is great! I feel exactly the same way - I used to just draw and write without thinking too much and somewhere along the way fell into self-consciousness. Beautifully executed and awesome skills with Illustrator.

Such cliches as 'out of the mouths of babes' are not exclusive to unvoiced yet obvious truths. Before we learn to 'vet' everything we do, say, or even give narrative thought to through the '3 bags full' filter, we live in the middle of a full-colour, stereophonic experience.

Brilliant. I especially love the parallax effect on the "Mr. Potatohead" version of you.
