国内外のアーティストを独自の視座で発掘、紹介するCALM & PUNK GALLERYで行われるのは、東北芸術工科大学の大学院生たちによるデザインユニットLinkの作品展。プロダクト、インテリア、メディアートなど、さまざまなジャンルを集めたグループ展である。ロンドンで開催されたデザインイベント“Tent London '08”出展作品をはじめとする新作発表を行う。プロのデザイナーとして活動するための橋渡しとなるLink。新しい才能を開花させる。

CALM & PUNK GALLERY discovers and presents home and international artists from an original point of view. The collection made a design unit Link by Graduate students from Touhoku University of Art and Design is exhibited. It is a group exhibition consisting of many genres such as products, interior and media art. They are showing new works and those exhibited at Tent London ' 08 . Link bridges desigers to be professionals. New talents will be blooming.

2005年東北芸術工科大学生産デザイン領域の有志により結成した、大学院生たちによるユニット。3度の海外出展（Designers Block London 06、07、Tent London 08）、2度の国内出展を経て、現在に至る。

デザインタイド トーキョー 2008とは
今回で4年目を迎えるDESIGNTIDE TOKYO 2008。
今年は東京ミッドタウン・ホールをメイン会場にして行われます。インテリア、プロダクト、建築、グラフィック、テキスタイル、ファッション、アートなど様々なジャンルから集まった作家たちの真摯なデザイン活動を受けとめる器として、東京という場所だからこそ集うデザインを発表し、トレードするためのエキシビションです。

What is DEIGNTIDE TOKYO 2008?
This marks the 4th year that DESIGNTIDE TOKYO 2008 is being held．This year, Tokyo Midtown Hall will be used as the main venue for the event. DESIGNTIDE TOKYO 2008 is a trade show where designers across a variety of fields – from interior and product design, architecture, graphic design, textiles, fashion and art - can congregate and exhibit work from serious design practices that make up the unique mix in Tokyo.
