This arrangement of the perennial Sam Cooke song was created more or less on the spot during a master class on arranging at the Folk Alliance Region West conference in Phoenix, Arizona, October 26, 2008. The class was moderated by songwriter and producer Wendy Waldman. Performing were Cindy Bullens (harmonica, vocal), Kenny Edwards (lead guitar/vocal), Freebo (bass), Deborah Holland (accordion/vocal), Dan Navarro (lead vocal/guitar), and Joel Tepp (clarinet). There was more talent on that stage than you would see in a week of MTV.
