I listened to The Loodies for the first time when I learned that Here On Out was going to film the Nuit Blanche show. I was floored by how amazing their sound was, but it really hit me when I finally met the members. Three out of the four members performed that night, and not one of them was of legal drinking age.
Ludovic suggested the location for this session. It was at their school, Le Vincent D'Indy, a music school located in Outremont where three of the members attended. It's a huge establishment and was clearly once a nunnery with bedrooms turned into practice rooms and large auditoriums turned into classrooms.
In the first part of our 8th session, The Loodies perform Sunny Snow in the largest classroom I've ever seen in my life.
And for anyone watching this video, do yourself a favour and keep an eye out for these guys. The Loodies are four members with pure musical talent waiting to be discovered, and they aren't even near their prime yet.
