The installation Adrenaline Dream was made for the Aperto section during the Venice Biennial 1993.
It was a two-part installation where a camouflaged green house was flanked by two pulsating latex walls. Inside the green house a crash test dummy, dressed in a spangled rescue suit, was resting like on a lit de parade. Every second minute the body of the figure started to tremble like having an epileptic seizure. This human quake would draw a parable to a hypnagogic state where the person who is just about to fall asleep, stumbles upon a threshold in the dream and wakes up with a hypnic jerk.
