I don't think you could do this with a Merlin and vest. Without enough inertia, the wind would easily take it away. Lots of these locations were quite rough as well with the bridge falling apart, sand and mud in other places- so we needed a full steadicam for sure. We used the flyer.

Not too much so far though we do have some projects in the works that will incorporate this. Dennis is also working on a wired follow focus for us so we can pull focus while moving with the rig.

Shot mostly with A1s. Some brevis footage in there too. The color grading overall is really what gives it the look it has though.
