HOW TO PARTY AND MAKE GOOD BALLOON is part of SUITE SUITE CHINATOWN, a larger multimedia piece commissioned by the Canada Arts Council and the Toronto Reel Asian International Film Festival. The film invites the audience to Foley the sound effects with discarded objects through onscreen directives, while the orchestra plays a live soundtrack to guide the process. Beyond screening in Toronto, we toured the project to San Francisco, New York, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Chicago, Montreal and Guangzhou.
