I just made the order window tonight! In fact, they all sold out before I completed my order for the Travelor version. So many opportunities to use it to it's fullest here on Oahu.
Question: Would the Giottos head allow for "elevator" shots with this rig? Mahalo

I love mine. I got one from batch #5. Used it a few times on various shoots. Really gives those shots a high cinematic feel. Worth it if you have the money.

Wow $1000.00 bucks? I can see that it's good quality but out of my price range. Picked up a Konova slider for 300 bucks. But I'd rather have the PB slider.. mabey one day.

buy me one for birthday april 16th hmm may be one day ill own one

  • Have you ever tried it out with a magic arm attached to it? Tom Guilmette does this frequently and you instantly get some really nice angles with a slide.

I wonder how far you can extend it with a magic arm before it trips over and how smooth the slide is that way... Perhaps you should use the outrigger feet to gain extra balance...

I'd love one of these...with the motor too...it would be an awesome tool. But doubt I'd be able to slip that purchase passed the wife/book keeper! Ha ha

I wonder how the one made by Dynamic Perception compares to it? I know it's 5 feet and new but it is a little more hobby budget friendly.

    Still, I want one anyway!

Just got mine this week- amazing piece of kit. Received 1 day before attending Philip's Canon Filmmakers Live event in Austin which was too much fun, plus got to clear up a few mounting questions with Phil in person. Had one issue and got a call back from Eric Kessler personally- amazing customer service and great guy. You need one now!

Hey Phillip - great work on the product. Would the dolly handle a Sony F3 or is that too ambitious. Is the 3 footer much more expensive? questions questions...
  • Philip Bloom pro 10 months ago
Yup I used f3 on my stardust nathalie piece

3 foot same price as 2 foot. Just be careful as longer one much harder to balance on tripod than 2 foot especially with f3

Thanks for the demo Mr Bloom, now how can I get my hand on one of these things, as I was caught at the Austin event trying to sneak yours out.

Also is there a way to change the signature font... Ha Ha!

Hey PHil, always nice to see you on your videos, love the accent and all but...I wish you would have asked for a moving counterweight so that it would stay rock solid when using only one tripod :)
