Claire Bosomworth graduated from the University of Leicester (UK) in 2005 with a BSC(Hons) degree in Medical Genetics. Since then Claire has been working as a Clinical Scientist in Leeds. This video is a presentation she gave in the 2011 season of Careers After Biological Science series at Leicester, in which former students of the University are invited back to offer careers advice to current students . Claire talks about her work on Microbiology and previous work in Molecular Genetics. She also explains about the new Modernising Scientific Careers route into roles within the NHS.

The video was filmed by Cliff Oakes and Andy Palmer from the IT Services dept at the University of Leicester, and edited by Cliff Oakes.
