Dude, I loved this interview because it was so candid. I appreciate you posting it. Zach, if you want to check out a crucial book.. you should read N.T. Wright "Challenge of Jesus".. Based on what i've noticed from this interview it's right up your ally (I'm a huge Rob Bell Fan and I love it). Kudos.

Fantastic interview. Very authentic conversation. I dont ever feel like I've heard rob discuss the creative process, and that's something I always wanted his perspective on. Thanks for taking the time to do this.

Rob Bell is so ahead of his time. We need more people doing what he's doing - teaching/preaching in an engaging way, a relevant way, a way that's innovative yet informed and backed up with knowledge, vision and passion.

How is no one else doing what he's doing? Not necessarily in the same way he does it, but certainly in the same vein?

Rob Bell is a heretic......my goodness.
    Discern error from truth!

""This is part of the problem with continually insisting that one of the absolutes of the Christian faith must be a belief that “Scripture alone” is our guide. It sounds nice but it is not true… When people say that all we need is the Bible, it is simply not true."

(Rob Bell, Velvet Elvis: Repainting The Christian Faith, p.067,068)
