Filmed by Pritt Kalsi. A lot of people talk about old school Dj's, Pioneers and the new school Turntablist's. The Kool Herc's The Rob Swifts and Q-Berts.
My Question was what about those DJ's Who helped pave the way for Hip Hop music, Those who's contribution to the scene made it what it was, by playing a record made or braked a artist, and to this day still involved.
From cutting on The B-Boys, infamous 2,3 Break 12', having one of NYC longest running Radio Shows. I made a trip to meet one of Hip Hop true unspoken legends. Chuck Chillout. What i really loved about this film was capturing the passion that Chuck has for music and cutting records. He is a man of high Energy and it comes across in this film. So please take the time out to peep on of the great hip hop DJs, a man that made artists hits. remember it was Chuck Chillout that broke Public Enemy when no one wanted to play them. Enjoy
