    My first memory of voting was when my mom took me to vote with her (it was 1980 or 1984) and she used one of those old school voting machines like you used in this video. I wish my polling place would have had one of those.

    We're still using paper here. But I'm not complaining, I like it that way.

    It's still paper and pencil over here. I used to think that machines would be better because they enable the counting to be much quicker, but after the year 2000 Florida fiasco I'm not so sure.

    Hey, how 'come you got to flip switches and I had to use a magic marker? Watching some of these voting vids, it seems that there are a variety of different types of ballots. Weird.

    I don't know. There is alot of talk about change, but elections are not about change. It's about keeping things the same. Obama or no Obama. That's just my pessimistic view.

    you can be my key to new york city life. the real nasty stuff, you know. nothing touristy. like hot dog stands instead of macdonalds, and only 4 1/2 star hotels, you know, i'm not into that snobby 5 star stuff, and dying malnourished children in the street instead of contiki tours.

    because i just have a real concern about all those things. you know. i want to see what's real.

    Obama - McCain = same thing. They might differ on the smaller political issues that most of us are concerned about. Just like the old voting machine he voted on. The economic policy's foundation is also outdated.

    I'm so happy that so many americans went to vote, and that Obama won, even though I'm not american or live there anymore.
