HackFwd de-cloaked officially in June 2010, but we had been in operation since early 2010. With the first year behind us, we wanted to take a look back and share the biggest learnings. We put together this video explaining the whole HackFwd experience, with the Build events at its core, and looking back at the learnings from our first year.

As HackFwd Founder Lars Hinrichs says in the video, we want to free Europe's best programmers from their day jobs and help them create their own game-changing companies. The Build events are a way for the teams to come together, to share their learnings and to learn from the experts in their fields. The content of the events is geared to meet the specific needs of our startups. "All the talks are way more technical than the other startup programs I've seen," says Ville Miettinen, one of our Referrers. "And that's a cool thing".
