Oh wow. I'm a summer of love baby also--turning 40 in a few weeks, yikes!! And this was great! The Jungle Book clip causes serious flashbacks, as I saw that at the drive-in as a kid (must have been like 1974) and then got the book cassette thing (this is what we did before videotape, right?). Spooky thing is that I also had the Robin Hood book cassette based on that movie and the same guy who voiced Baloo the Bear in Jungle Book was Little John in Robin Hood (IMDB says his name is Phil Harris). Man, I forgot how much I loved those cassettes. I could probably still sing every song in the Robin Hood animated movie. Thanks for the memories!!

I remember the day I "met" Sgt. Pepper, even to how the light filtered through the birches--as if life had just begun. As a teen, I was babysitting the minister's children--whose album this was...!.... Excellent choices, all. Catherine Deneuve is a favorite actress of mine--Audrey Hepburn and Sophia the Great--all have a "je ne sais quoi." Your little darling is going to be among that sort, too, once she's of age. I know--I raised one as precocious & adorable. Her favorite video was Jungle Book. "In the military style...." (Oof, are you ever going to be EXHAUSTED, as you've only just begun.) Lucky you! Parenthood is eternal, but childhood flies in an instant, comme une petite allouette. She will want to know your youth's moments, too, one day.So, how wise of you to "film" it--from the subjective perspective you had as you lived it.
