Ann was born in Glasgow, Scotland and was schooled in England. She started her career as a top photographic model in London and Europe. After moving to Los Angeles, she worked as an actress in theater, film, and television for the next ten years.
In 1996, after living in the San Juan Islands and interacting daily with the resident Orca whale pods of the Puget Sound, Ann wanted to formulate a non-profit organization to help protect all whales and dolphins. After extensive research and investigation regarding the well-being of these majestic creatures--especially from the physical and mental abuse that she saw at Sea World and other captive "swim-with-dolphin" industries--she created the Universal Cetacean Institute.
Ann has traveled extensively around the world to study with spiritual teachers. She has spent considerable time in India, particularly with her teacher in the Himalayas. She has a rich background in psychology and metaphysics. She received her PHD in Metaphysical Science from the University of Metaphysics in California.
In 1995, Ann was initiated into the sacred healing teachings of Reiki. She is a third-degree Usui Reiki master. Ann works as a private counselor whose aim is to assist others on their journey through life--and to educate and enlighten--through higher states of awareness.
She has been referred to as a living "Muse" due to her ability to brighten anyone's spirit in her company. She has a gentle loving nature that uplifts and inspires whomever she's with. Ann is also hosting two radio programs on the garden island of Kaua'i, Hawaii.
One of the radio shows, "Truth from the Source", airs throughout Hawaii and streams worldwide on the internet every Sunday. For almost six years, "Truth from the Source" has successfully brought many leading authorities and international authors on air to discuss cutting edge environmental, health, and spiritual issues that are rarely discussed on most other talk shows.
Her mission is to inform the public about alternative ways to live a healthier, more conscious life style and to create a healthier environment by becoming part of a global solution and not be part of the problem.
