I'm posting this because GL points don't make for a very interesting screen grab, and it's really hard to tell what the motion is like from a still.
These particles are being affected by curl noise, which is a way of making a velocity field act incompressible. In other words, it's fake fluid dynamics.
The frame rate is pretty bad right now, hovering around 15/30 (on my 9600M GT) with not much going on. The heaviest bits are the 12 simplex noise calculations for the curl step. Hopefully I can reduce that.
