I think he's really funny. I still don't understand why so many people hate him so much.

i think the things he says are funny... the first time i hear them... but he just rubs me the wrong way i guess.
he seems like a giant prick if you ask me... but to each his own i guess.
just not my style of stand up... my favorite comedian right now is demetri martin... much much different.

As a comedian myself, I really can't respect a lot of things I hear about him "lifting" jokes from other stand ups - however, his performance and delivery is pretty hard to top.

Yeah, I don't think he steals jokes... there really isn't that much to talk about and you're right if he DOES take them from people he does it a hell of a lot better.

I mostly hear about Mencia stealing from like... Cosby.

Dane sold the whole "I'm going to say a joke, then say it a few more times replacing certain words with synonyms..." thing, I think.
