The Coyotes needed a spot and we were running out of time. With only a script and a hard drive full of photos we started on a Saturday morning and finished Monday (concept to completion). Lack of sleep was enjoyed by all. This is our version of the art card - it was later changed just before airing - and center cropped.

I like the motion you put on the still photos at :03, :05, :07, :09. That's After Effects right?

how do you make the photos move like that? like slow movments of refs and stuff?

Many techniques are used. But it begins with cutting out the elements from the photos in photoshop and cloning in whatever should be behind them. The rest is done with animation software - in this case I used After Effects.

Red Giant sent me here. I'm also wondering how you achieved the slow-mo from the images. My guess is the puppet tool in AE, though I've never actually used it myself.
  • Flock of Pixels plus 7 months ago
yes the puppet tool was use on some parts

Super impressive seeing what was done in the timeframe you had to do it. Awesome job! RIP Coyotes...
