March 2011-MHS students musicians, The Musical Bears, won the Battle of the Bands competition.
The group includes junior Kyle Chambers, banjo player and lead singer extraordinaire; junior Tim Anderson, out-of-this-world acoustic guitarist; junior Garrett Ewing, jamming on the string bass; and sophomore Penn Sumner, vocals and smokin’ hot fiddle player.
The annual MHS / MACA Battle of the Bands took place on Wednesday, March 16, at 7 p.m. in the auditorium.
