Kuwait Docupedia (Part 2)
This is the second part of the short documentary I made during my last visit to Kuwait last February (2008). In this part I talk about the National Holidays celebrations and decorations and the different parts of the beautiful Kuwait City.
Unlike the first part most of the shots in this one were taken.. on foot, as far as I can remember hand held. A heavier post production was applied here using Final Cut Pro, Color and Motion.
It is in my opinion the HV20 night shooting ability pushed to the limits! I captured using ProRes, tried to get the maximum dynamic range using Color's curves and at the end applied noise reduction using CHV Repair filters, all while trying to make the picture look as natural as possible. Looking at it now, even in its compressed form, I must say that I am impressed :)
This is the second and final part for now. You can watch the first part here:

Thank you Moayad. I'm looking forward to see another production about Kuwait.
I enjoyed watching part II very much.
It was worth the time and effort you spent to produce
this work, dedicated for Kuwait :)
This part is so emotional one and has moments make you feel peace and rapport with the places of homeland and its occasions "even for non-Kuwaitis!" This and many other beautiful things can be said about this documentary.
I hope to have the time to do mine, because the "HV30" won the war and raised the victory flag!
It is placed beside me while i am writing this and it sends its greetings to you :))
