compilation of grading before and after shots of Silent Snow, directed by Jan van den Berg.
This documentary contains about 650 shots, shot with various, most HDV camera's and natural light circumstances (no additional lights). It was shot over a period of more than 3 years, under extreme temperatures and circumstances: greenland, unganda, costa rica, india. Grading it was a satisfying experience to see the movie become a constistent piece together.
Projected on the big cinema screen I am always suprised how far you can go with HDV in apple's Color, thanks to the floating 32 bits.
