In an effort to improve communications on “automatic-aid” responses the OCFA (ORC) and Los Angeles County Fire Department (LAC) have recently exchanged portable radios. The exchange of radios will provide specific units the ability to communicate on the appropriate tactical channels. In general, this affects stations boarding each county.
