The Slattery Media Group invites you to view 2008 Emirates Melbourne Cup day, as captured through time-lapse photography. 3543 photos, caught over 13 hours, played back in two minutes.

Captured from the Stewards Tower, near the finishing post, overlooking the straight at Flemington Racecourse, a photo was taken every 30 seconds starting at 7:43am, and finishing at 8:26pm. During Race 7, one frame was shot every second to capture the running of the Emirates Melbourne Cup.
