south buffalo and sunset park, brooklyn.
short film exploring the relationship between post-industrial artifacts and an urban site. work on this film preceded the development of architectural/urban design proposals for both sites. in buffalo we were exploring the otherworldliness of the remnant structure, abandoned and isolated, and its potential for artistic inspiration. in brooklyn we examined the not-actually-empty industrial artifacts and the garment industry workers that filled them and the surrounding neighborhood.
footage shot and edited by travis bunt and pedro jose borges, 2009.
spiritual and conceptual support by seohong min, aren bogossian, and gib fuentes.
